Whilst studying a course on Photography at Edinburgh University, I stumbled upon a technique called ICM. ICM stands for Intentional Camera movement and involves moving the camera whilst the shutter is open on a long exposure. This technique creates something that ranges from completely abstract and unidentifiable to something resembling a painting by Monet. What I love most about ICM is being able to create something that wasn’t there before. Taking a subject, whether beautiful or mundane and turning it into art and an image that could not be seen with the naked eye.

My photography is available to purchase- please email for details.
